Learning Healthy Boundaries 5-Week Series (week 4)

This series is designed to help you establish, communicate, and maintain healthy boundaries. You will learn to feel empowered to protect your well-being, foster healthier relationships, and improve your overall quality of life. Heathy boundaries contribute to more balanced, respectful, and fulfilling relationships.
Week 1: Understanding Boundaries. Learn what boundaries are and why they are essential. Learn why it is difficult
to set healthy boundaries. Reflect on current boundaries.
Week 2: Communication Skills. Develop skills for assertive communication. Learn how to say “no” without
guilt and how to express needs and limits effectively.
Week 3: Recognizing & Handling Boundary Violations. Learn to understand your needs and strategies for responding to boundary
violations in a constructive and respectful manner.
Week 4: Emotional Management. Learn how to deal with feelings of guilt, fear, or anxiety that may arise when
setting boundaries. Explore ways to manage the emotions of others when they
react to your boundaries.
Week 5: Respecting Others’ Boundaries. Explore how to respect and honor the boundaries of others. Gain awareness of
how your behavior impacts others and how to foster relationships that value
mutual respect.
