Group therapy is a powerful process to learn from each other through shared experiences and insights brought from all walks of life. Group is a place that fosters belonging and at the same time, with kindness, calls us out on our stuff. Members will learn greater self-awareness and awareness of others, as well as being given time to process, skills to cope, and growth in profound ways.
Setting healthy boundaries are essential for living with peace and well-being. Healthy boundaries are the parameters, that give us what we need, to be able to show up as our best selves. As we become better at setting and keeping healthy boundaries, we reduce anxiety, depression, and other states of disharmony. Over these four weeks we will learn what healthy boundaries look like, where our limits are, and how to implement healthy boundaries into our lives. As we take better care of ourselves we show up to life, as the best version of who we are, more of the time. Mindfulness is not an absence of thought; it is the returning to stillness—a simple mental focus—after we realize we are involved in a thought. In this 6-week class you will learn the practice of mindfulness through breathe, sound, body sensation, and thought. These life affirming tools will give you what you need to continue developing more peace, well-being, resilience, calm, emotion regulation, and compassion into your life. Self-esteem is the relationship you have with yourself. When we have a healthy self-esteem, we have an encouraging, safe, hopeful, supportive, and reassuring relationship with ourselves. Our self-talk is gentle and kind, it’s showing up as our own best friend. Healthy self-esteem is feeling worthy of our thoughts, feelings, needs, and ideas. Over these 4-weeks we will learn tools to develop a healthier more stable sense of self.
